Building a Global Community for Positive Behavior Support
The Global Positive Behavior Support Coalition is an international community working together to advance evidence-based PBS implementation worldwide by fostering consistent and high-quality practice through shared partnership, knowledge exchange, and a dedicated global community.
Since launching the Global PBS Coalition in October 2025, the Global Community has grown to include 470 professionals from 26 countries who are interested in implementing positive behavior support in a variety of settings including: Early Childhood, Home, Community, Educational, Forensic/Corrections, Juvenile Justice, and Older Adults.
Global Community Meeting – February 2027
The Global PBS Coalition will bring the community together in February 2027. Two sessions will be offered to make participation possible across more international time zones. Community members may attend whichever session works best. Both sessions will provide an opportunity to reconnect, hear how the Coalition’s work is developing, and help shape its next steps.

As a starting point for the work of the Global PBS Coalition, we have developed the brief–Understanding Positive Behavior Support and Applied Behavior Analysis. Together, we can build on works of this kind and beyond to define and enhance positive behavior support practices throughout the world.
